Data Enrichment for Salesforce leverages the Gale Group Business Intelligence
Web service from StrikeIron. This service provides In-depth financial and
corporate information on approximately 290,000 U.S. and 150,000 international
companies, with 90 percent of the companies being privately held.
The Data Enrichment Tool is easy to use: simply click the “Enrich Data” Custom
Link on your Lead/Account, and a window will be presented highlighting the
differences between the Salesforce record and the enriched company data.
With the click of a button you then can update your Lead/Account information
with enriched company data, and add a Note to the Lead/Account with additional
detailed information such as key executives/officers, brand/product and
historical sales/revenue information.
If you do not wish to update the main Lead/Account record, you can also simply
add a Note to the Lead/Account that contains all the enriched company
information.

Address Verification for Salesforce
Address Verification for Salesforce leverages the United States Postal Service
certified technology to verify, correct and enhance any address in the US with
live data.
StrikeIron inspects every element of an address to ensure its validity and,
using sophisticated matching and data standardization technology, updates
incorrect addresses according to postal requirements. StrikeIron inspects house
numbers, street directions, street names, street types, apartment numbers and
P.O. boxes to ensure the accuracy of each element and standardize addresses
according to postal authority rules. The tool also corrects street name
misspellings, validates street type extensions, standardizes city names and
state names, and appends missing state abbreviations.
StrikeIron verifies the correct address and clearly displays any discrepancies
in yellow between the Salesforce address and the verified address. With one
click you can replace the address with the updated data.
The data is updated monthly to eliminate wasted time contacting bad addresses.
