Integrate Now!
StrikeIron offers developers several methods for integrating Web services:
Method 1: REST
Using REST is beneficial when integrating with a website or using a programming language that does not support
SOAP natively. It is also easy to troubleshoot using any Web Browser. Whatever
your reason, if you choose to use REST to access StrikeIron Web Services, this
How-to Guide will help you get started: How To Call a StrikeIron Web Service Using REST
Method 2: SOAP
Using SOAP is preferred when using a programming tool (IDE) that provides WSDL
support (such as Microsoft Visual Studio or NetBeans). Some end-user tools
support SOAP too, such as Microsoft Popfly or StrikeIron's
SOA Express for Excel. If you choose to use SOAP, then use the WSDL
listed on any product detail page. For help using SOAP and WSDL, visit our
Technical Docs page and select the relevant Getting Started guide.
SOAP Authentication Options
StrikeIron offers two options for developers to authenticate their applications
with StrikeIron. Option 1 is to pass the credentials within the SOAP Header.
Option 2 is to pass the credentials within the SOAP Body as a parameter within
a Method. Click on any of the links below for more information.
