“How Solica provides Do Not Call List compliance, data verification and other functionality for Goldmine users”

Solica integrated access to StrikeIron Marketplace Web Services into their Goldmine add-ons and now GoldMine CRM users ensure compliance with Do Not Call lists, instantly verify customer contact information and get access to a growing list of additional functionality.

The Solica GoldDNC add-on now provides the first integrated solution for GoldMine users to avoid costly fines and ensure compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s National Do Not Call list regulations and state Do Not Call regulations.

The Solica GoldPlus add-on now allows GoldMine users to access a variety of services and functions including address and phone number verification and SMS messaging to mobile phones in more than 160 countries.

Problem

In September 2003 the Federal Do Not Call list system was introduced in the U.S. Fines of up to $11,000 can be imposed for calling someone who has registered with these lists. Sales people, telemarketers and others needed a way to quickly confirm if specific numbers were listed on the Do Not Call lists to avoid the fines and penalties.

They also needed ways to improve employee productivity by verifying and enhancing customer contact information, obtaining information about specific companies, reducing undeliverable mailings, and reducing the number of useless call attempts.

Solution

Solica integrated access to StrikeIron Marketplace Web Services into their GoldDNC and GoldPlus add-ons allowing Goldmine users to verify and enhance their customer contact and company information and ensure Do Not Call compliance on-demand.

Solica took advantage of the StrikeIron Marketplace API which enables multiple Web services from the StrikeIron Marketplace to be seamlessly integrated on-the-fly into products like GoldDNC and GoldPlus.

Now Solica’s customers have instant access to the following Web services and the list is growing all the time!
